What is Data Export?
ERPNext's Data Export tool downloads records from any DocType to a CSV or Excel file for reporting, data migration, or external analysis.
Exporting Data
Go to any List View and click Menu → Export. Select columns, apply filters, and choose format (CSV or Excel). For bulk exports, go to Settings → Data Export → New to export all records of a DocType including child table rows in a structured format.
Scheduled Exports and Reports
For recurring data exports, use the Auto Email Report feature (under Reports) to schedule any report to be emailed as a CSV attachment daily, weekly, or monthly. This is useful for dashboards in Excel or for feeding data to analytics tools like Power BI.
