What is Customer?
A Customer in ERPNext is a party master record for businesses or individuals who buy your products or services, storing contact, credit, and transaction history.
Customer Master Setup
Go to Selling → Customer → New. Enter Customer Name, Customer Group, Territory, GSTIN, and default Price List. Link Contact and Address records. Set credit limit, payment terms, and sales person. All future invoices and orders inherit these defaults.
Customer Portal and Statements
ERPNext's Customer Portal lets customers view their invoices, orders, and delivery status online. Generate a Customer Statement of Accounts from the customer master to email a summary of all outstanding and paid invoices to the customer.
